Ok, I'm happy. I got Transmute Mastery last week. I ended up taking the easy route and just gave the guy the primals. Sure it cost a LOT, but I figured I'd make it up in 3-4 weeks then switch to Elixer Mastery.
I'm happy to say it took 5 days to get my money back. Yesterday I got 2 of them and today I got 4. Yay! Hell, if my luck keeps up, I may just stay specced with Transmute Mastery. :D

I personally did not have that good of luck. A week of being a transmute master netted me 0 procs on earth to water. Switching to elixir master was the best thing I could do. Not only did it pay for itself the first day, but it paid for my warrior's epic flight in 3 - including two flask discoveries while I was at it.
From what I've heard from other xmuters you may very well have just hit the peak of your xmute career then - gratz none-the-less - here's hoping you keep getting lucky!
A rogue friend of mine is xmute mastery and he's gotten procs on primal might quite a few times. He's probably irish.

In months of doing a transmute every day, I have had 2 5procs and probably get a single proc maybe 1 in 10 transmutes - quite underwhelming. Elixir mastery seems to be much better when it comes to proccing.
I've done either 5 or 6 transmutes and thus far have gotten a free primal water and a free earthstorm diamond. Glad to know I can get procs with more than one bonus.
