How do i unzip WoW addon files?Follow

i dont want to spend money on winzip, and my trial is up, any programs that actually work and stay on your computer for good that are simple to download? i really want to get some good addons but have never been able to because i cant unzip the damn files! please help...

xp and vista both have unzipping utilities built into them. I personally use winrar.

use winrar, *.rar files actually compress things more than *.zip does anyway. Did they make winzip to where once the trial is up the whole program stops? It used to be like winrar, once the trial was up you had an annoying message you had to click OK, but that was it.

Indeed

Anyway i use Total commander, its an all in one (incl ZIP, ARJ, LZH, RAR, UC2, TAR, GZ, CAB, ACE archive handling + plugins).

You could get one of those programs or try wowmatrix. I've been using it and it rocks!
