transmute specFollow
just had a random question about the transmuting speciality. so after you get the quest and do the 4 primal might transmutes, do you end up losing those tranmutes to the quest giver or are you able to keep them?

You lose them. Kinda sucks in a way because that's alot of golds worth, but you soon make it back after a few x-mutes procs.

That's assuming it ever procs. In the, what, six or eight months I've been a transmutation master, doing my transmutes almost every day, mine's never procced. Probably just my bad luck, but still. Transmutation mastery is not for those prone to bad luck, because a single run of bad luck will break you.

Wow, that is bad luck, the very first day i specialized in transmutes i got skyfire diamond x3 and would get a proc every third or forth day at least on what ever transmute I was making. But I've switched to elixir today and have had 3 discoveries and many many procs on various flasks/elixirs all ready.. Maybe I'm just lucky?
Xmute spec is too much of a gamble for the occassional big payoff - I went for flask/elixer spec for the constant payoffs as well as all of those flask procs (remember, a flask goes for 50-100g depending on what it is and the mats to make it are far less then that off a might).

Yeah i've been one of the unlucky ones myself, but that mainly due to the CD timers for transmutes which blows, wanna switch over to Elixir mastery and unsure what ya need to do to go about switching. Anyone know what i will need to do for that?
