Newby Skinning/Leatherworking QuestionFollow

Just joined up from my 10 day trial so brand new (bare with me:) ).. I am running a lvl 21 Night Elf Hunter with Leatherworking and skinning. Currently leatherworking is right around 100 and skinning is up too 120ish. I am not making a whole lot of cash, but then again there is nothing I really need to buy right now.

Question is should I stay with these two. Seems a lot of folks say go with mining/blacksmithing to make some cash ?? I like the combo I have as I like to mostly play solo and its nice to think I can eventually be independent for most armour and have a good trade..

Thoughts..stay or change before I get too far down the path.thanks in advance.

Not sure where you got that from, most people say minning/skinning (or herbs) to make cash.

There is nothing wrong with skinning/leatherworking, later on you can make mail items as well as leather and I believe some of the end game epics you can craft are good for a hunter. Blacksmithing is more geared towards the platewearers at endgame I think.

Now that the mount cost is 35g for training there's not much to spend money on until outlands, just carry on levelling them.
Hunters are fairly cheap, you can get by with quest rewards and crafted gear up to 70.
