Ok where can I buy green dye from that is horde friendly? Only thing I found so far seems to be alliance vendors.

Type "green dye" into the search box in the upper right of the screen. when you click on the results, you will get a list of vendors.

thanks ... for some reason the only list of vendors i would get were alliance vendors... not horde.
Try the tailoring or LW supply vendors that are usually camped next to the trainers.

Not quite - the general goods/tradeskill supply vendors don't carry all of the dyes (don't remember which ones they don't carry though).
