Does someone know of way to obtain the formula for deathfrost other than the summer event?
I red about the enchant some time ago and people didn't know where it was from and if it even would be in the game. And now it seems like i've missed the chance to get the formula for my enchanter ><

As far as I know the only way to obtain this formula was through the summoned summerfest boss. It is a BoP recipe so no way of getting it off of the AH and since the event has passed it is most likely impossible to get the item anymore.
the only way to have gotten this was to Summon Ahune, the Summerfest boss, kill him, have it drop for your group,then win the BoP drop and learn it.
Summerfest is over, if you did not already get it, you cannot get it until next year.

Sadly, there is no summerfest in WoW where people get bathing suits and talk to random moogles or things like that. There is the Midsummer Fire Festival where people can prefect the dangerous art of torch catching and they can also go on an adventure to honor the flames of their faction.

Too bad the formula isn't avaliable anymore. Maybe I can get it with the expansion or at least next year ^^;
I hate that Ahune is gone until next summer, which is a bummer because I was still levelling when he was here and I really really wanted his staff, which will probably be useless next year due to WotLK. /cry

Considering the ease of getting the PvP weapons which were just as good or better then the staff the main point of getting the staff was for the awesome factor in how it looked. The same will hold true next summer if it is still in.
