Profession for my Feral DruidFollow

I've made a druid. I plan to be feral, if I stick with the character long enough, heh. I don't really have any interest in the other specs, especially healing. I can't seem to decide on a profession.

My main is a 70 enhance Shaman, who's an herbalist/alchemist, so costs are not a concern.

My thinking was between Leather and Enchanting. I did start enchanting on my 21 pally but I don't think I'll be going back to her.

Any advice? Thanks.

there are a few good peices from LW, but you really need to have a skinning character to go along with it.

Feral tanking starter set is all about the Heavy Clefthoof set. all three peices are BoE so you dont have to be a LW to get them, but if you are you get a +20 strenght bonus.

there are some nice epic BoP boots, for both Cat and Bear. the reciepes are BoE, the items are BoP.
also nice crafted epic heads, shoulders, hands and boots. not all of them are BoP.

if/when you specilize, you can get the primalstrike set and there is a nice 3 peice epic set for kitty dps.
Armour kits are sweet for leg patches and other +8/+10 stam kits...all are BoE so you could just have them made for you.
Drums...LW drums are cool. they do NOT take you out of form, they have 50 charges per drum, and can be a nice little extra to have for groups. there is a +AP to group drum, a 2-sec fear drum, and a +600MP/HP to group drum.
there are items that will sell, riding crop, kits, leg patches, and a few otehr items, but nothing crazy.

Enchanting (disenchanting) is great for playing the AH, buying greens DE'n and selling mats. can be expensive to level if you dont do it right. selfenchant all your gear all the time. BoP ring enchants. good for ring enchants and making money. probably alot of other good things to enchanting that i am leaving out.

for me, my character, and my account......my feral druid is a Skinner/LW.

I've opted for Enchanting / Herbalism. I think I'd like enchanting more and herbs sell for a lot. Or stockpile them and sell them at a premium when inscription comes out, or level inscription myself. And I hate mining. Nodes are out of the way, you have to smelt, there are droughts when leveling it....

Just curious, why not enchanting/leatherworking? You can make a killing with enchanting alone by playing the AH right, and then just buy all the leather you want. Yes, it'll hurt when you're spending 4 gold for a stack of medium leather, but considering you just sold a ton of strange dust for the same amount and it took you 1/3 of the time it would have to farm the leather, you need to put it in context.

As for inscription, the stockpiling isn't a bad idea, but again, enchanting should be able to make up for it; you could just as easily stockpile gold at level 70 to wait for inscription.

I would have went with enchanting herbalism as well or herbalism/skinning. The best part about both of those is that you don't need to change forms to skin/pick things (which is amazing later with flight form). At least on my server you can make a profit leveling leatherworking (even by buying mats off the AH) and then DEing the goods.
