Noob jewelcrafting questionFollow

#1 Jun 27 2008 at 5:41 AM Rating: Decent
I have just created a new human character to take a break from my main, and I have been really wanting to give jewelcrafting a try. Is there an easy way to get from Stormwind to Exodar?

Step 1) Send money from main toon to alt
Step 2) Get port from mage

Otherwise, get ready for a long haul.

Might as well run it. You'll have to at some point anyway to pick up the FP in IF, Loch Modan, Wetlands, and Auberdine anyway. Just be prepared to die a couple of times; it should really only take about half an hour.

Thanks for the help. That was the way I was thinking about going but wasn't sure if there was a better way, or a portal in Stormwind similar to the one in Undercity that takes you to Silvermoon.

The only reason they put a portal from silvermoon is otherwise it would require everyone to run through two level 50-60 zones at level 20

If this is your 1st Alliance character, there is a tram from SW to IF, in case you didn't know about it. Entrance is on the east side of the Dwarven District.

Or, if you want to take a more interesting route.....swim from Westfall to Booty Bay. Take boat to Ratchet. Run up through Barrens/Ashenvale to Auberdine.

My vote is still for mage Port. Then, you can easily get the FP for Darn, Auberdine, Menethil, & Theramore (if you want) without any deaths. Then, hearth back to wherever you are planning to level. Much faster, and no deaths (which makes it take even longer).
