I recently grinded my way up to 300 JC on my main character. I figured once I managed this I could take a break, prospect some good gems and level a bit slower(or at least cheaply).
However, I can no find a single Gem cut. I've been to the two master JC trainers, the one is Shat and in HH. Both will only offer [Band of Natural Fire] and no cuts.
I'm a level 70 Druid who is honored with both the Aldor and HH, please help, you're my only chance!

Forgot to mention:
It sounds like you are a miner as well, and the gems are supposed to come back to mining nodes in patch 2.4.3. That should help with getting a supply of gems to cut. No idea when the patch is, though.

Thanks for the site, I had a quick look and can't wait to look further when I get home.
But I checked both of the people and didn't see any gem cuts to buy and learn. The Vendor has just gems for sale(unless they don't look like the usual scroll). The trainer didn't have anything to offer to train except the ring. Does the vendor only have so many cut scrolls to sell?
I'll look again when I get home and if I don't see them perhaps open a ticket I guess... I really hope that it's just me overlooking them then a issue where I just can't learn them :(

Tatiana is in the Inn at Honor Hold and your should be able to see all her recipes. She has two pages of them that you can get at various reputation. They should still show red even if you can't get them yet.
You said you are Honored with HH so it shouldn't be a rep issue. Her designs are not limited, as far as I know.
Check Tatiana one more time, and ask someone else in the inn if they can see gem cuts on her list. If they do, something is wrong and you should open a ticket and have a GM check it out. Or if it is someone you trust and they are not Bind on Pickup, have them buy them for you and trade them to you.
Keep us posted, I'm interested to know why she won't show you her stuff.

you need to click to see the recipes she has. they are actual recipes you have to buy to learn not ones she trains you. It took me awhile to figure this out too as I couldn't figure out why I couldn't train them since I was over 300.

I got several green gem cut recipes from the trainer in Thrallmar so I assume the trainer in HH has them too. You start out with Flame Spessarite, Brilliant Golden Draenite and so on. If you want Metagem cuts, that comes later and several are reputation based or drops. If you are looking for gems to cut, you can prospect fel iron and adamantite, and get the monthy "goodie" bag from the Consortium base in Nagrand. The higer your rep, the better the gems. You could do the same by typing "design:" into the search box here. Alternatively, you could click on "items" in the menu above, click on "search" in the submenu, and then type in "design: ". exclude raid drops, static drops, and world drops. What's left is quest rewards and vendored items.
