I saw alot of posts for runecloth. Fine, I can farm runecloth til the cows come home, but I dont need that stuff. It was dropping like flies when I was killing stuff, but what about felcloth. I need ONE felcloth and I dont really wanna be paying the 27g for 2 cloths that I saw on the AH. Anybody got a good place for me to search? I got cookies and milk with your name on it. The cookies are nice and chocolaty chippy and the milk is icety cold. Mmmm mmm. You know you want it...lol.

Stupid Warlock quest...

I've gotten some off the demons in Azshara. My wife and I went farming there and were able to get one every 1/2 hour of farming around 62,26.

There is some discussion of felcloth drops here:

Given the chance of having to kill a huge number of mobs to get a piece, I would use my time to make money another way and simply buy from the AH.

There is a limited supply vendor in the demon area in southern Winterspring. When the snow ends and the hell begins, you'll see a cave up a slope. In that cave is the vendor. Be warned; a level 60ish elite demon is usually nearby outside. Either stealth, invisibility potion, or kill it. Or die and run back inside to buy :-P

Other places include Azshara, as Mike said, or northern Felwood (my old favorite). Depending on how fast you can kill, you should get a decent amount. Some demonic runes too, though those aren't as important these days. I think it's like a 5% drop? Maybe a little less. You'll get a lot of runecloth while doing it though, and Runecloth sells for a decent amount on my server (around 4+ gold a stack. Nothing to sneeze at).

Also, in the next patch I hear that Mooncloth is losing its cooldown. Yay! So more Felcloth might be useful, especially if you're a tailor and want to make some decent clothing for your character pre-Outland.

Maybe it's just me, but I noticed that Satyrs have the best drop rate for felcloth. (if the word "best" could possibly be used to describe such a low overall drop rate...) There are camps in Felwood as well as Azshara, as mentioned by previous posters.

According to WoWhead, the Felguard Sentry located near the Dark Portal in Blasted Lands will also drop felcloth. At level 54-55 they are probably not much more difficult than the Satyrs in Azshara, although they do patrol with a Felhound.

You can make a few pretty nice shadow damage tailored pieces with felcloth, but I never really bothered since I knew better rewards were coming in Outland, especially considering again, that the drop rate is icky. The Felcloth pants only require two pieces, so I did make them for my warlock.

Felcloth has a always been a ponderous grind. That's why they sell for so much at auction. If you want to grind them yourself head over to Felwood or Azshara and grind on the satyrs there. I was happy grinding four pieces of felcloth in an hour back when my tailor need that stuff.

That's hands down the fastest, cheapest and easiest way to farm the stuff - just park a toon in that cave with a fat purse and check in every 30m (that seems to be the reset timer on the special goods) - be sure to buy the Gromsblood herbs as they sell nicely on the AH too.

Felwood has always been where i go. But as mentioned above the drop rate is so ridiculous I also have questioned if i really NEED it ...
