Drop Alch For Mining?Follow

Ok, so I took a few months away from the game (sorry if I have stated that b4), any way I hit level 70 a few days ago finally saved enough for my epic flyer and only have about 300g left after buying it, I need to gear up quick to get back into raiding so I need a lot of gold.

I'm confused daily as to why I keep alch as a profession, all my old guild members who stayed around while I was on break have every alch recp around while I only have a few discoveries.

I was thinking of dropping Alch all together, keep herbalism and pick up mining so I can just make a ton of gold. If I need pots I can just send mats to guild mates so they can make the pots for me..

Can anyone offer me any good reasons why I should keep alch except for the months I spent leveling it?

its a hard call, and you need to think if it serves you. remember mining and herbing share tracking on your minimap and only one can be tracked at a time.

I personally love Alc. I xmute every day for easy cash, i herb while out and about doing dailies, and i like to craft my own pots/elixirs for 5 mans and whatnot.
make sure your sporegore rep is up so you can get the P-earth to P-water xmute and make easy gold on that everyday.

If you need cash, just do the dailies. for 1-2 hours of dailies you can net over 200 gold...everyday.
you said you have herbalizim....on my server, prices of everything have shot up, ancient lichin is going for 40-50 a stack, and similar prices for terocone and whatnot. go out and herb your butt off and make some money with that....do your dailies and you should bank in some cash rather quickly.

.....earth to water xmute....buy the primal earth (1-5g each server depending) xmute to water (20-35g server depending) thats just some extra cake on top of dailies and AH'in Herb stacks.
