shadowcloth to spellclothFollow

#1 Apr 16 2008 at 9:28 AM Rating: Decent
I made the mistake to spec shadowcloth. I'am mage and i'm planning to start raiding soon and i want to craft my spellfire set. I have to unlearn the shadoweave specialisation. But i think My tailoring will drop at 365 or 350 but not sure. Do i stay at 375? What appends to my Battlecast pattern If my tailoring drop lower than 375 will i lost the pattern or when i'll hit 375 again i'will be able to craft it again

THX

i have not done it myself, but i think you are misstaken. your skill level should not drop or lower ever, unless you unlearn/drop the entire profession. you will drop the specalization, but not drop any of your skill points already earned.

When you unlearn your specialization you won't lose skill, only the specialization. It costs 170g total, 150g unlearn, then 20g to learn the new specialization. You won't be able to wear anything that required the previous specialization, but that is the only detriment.
