Give up skinning for enchanting at lvl 70 / skill 375?Follow

Hi all,

I'm a druid leatherworker with skinning at maximum and leatherworking at 369. Once I get leatherworking to 375, I'm thinking about giving up skinning in favor of leveling enchanting. I think for a level 70 char, disenchanting unneeded drops is far more lucrative than skinning.

What do you think? It seems that for every level 70 char enchanting seems to be a very attractive job because of the disenchanting option?

The leather I need for my crafting can be retrieved rather cheaply from the AH, from what I saw.

What do you think?

All the best,
Michael

I make good coin from skinning heavy clefthoof leather.
Also, sometimes the costs of the DE mats (on my server at least) aren't much higher than the vendor costs (4g vendor, 6 gold when DE'd).

Up to you though of course.

Why not make a bank alt, and get it to level 35 and de anything in the game but BoPs?

Yes, that is what I'm currently doing / decided to do. I'm leveling a bank alt (currently level 21) to level 35 and let him do all this stuff. I think that's the most sensible solution.

All the best,
Michael
