I am currently a Lv365 Blacksmith Axesmith who is thinking about switching to Armorsmith given that my warrior is now a tank. Waaay back when I took Axesmithing I didn't really plan on doing instances, or tanking much.
What exactly is involved in the process of switching over? Do I lose all 365 levels of my blacksmithing? Or do I just lose the ability to equip anything made with Axesmithing?
I'm not entirely sure how this works, or if it is even possible.
Is it possible? How exactly is it done?

Axesmith -> ArmorsmithFollow
If it follows the other crafting professions you will keep all current skill, but not be able to equip anything that requires Master Axesmith. Probably pay a substantial respec fee and be ready to go.
Go to the Master Axesmith then Armorsmith and unlearn your spec and then have the other teach your spec, tailoring charges 170g to unlearn one, and 20 to learn new one
