problem!! cannot change from Aldor to ScryersFollow

#1 Mar 31 2008 at 9:49 AM Rating: Decent
last time i was a aldor, i cannot talk to the enchanter trainer in shattrath city because they are scryers, so i decided to change to scryers, i have completed the quest called Voren'thal's Visions (for me to change from Aldor to Scryers), but i still unable to take to scryers npc, why this happened, what i suppose to do?

addtion: i slay some scryers guardian when i was a aldor , will it bring down my reputation for scryers?

this is the reputation after i completed the quest

First off, there is an enchanting trainer for aldor. It's in honor hold.

Secondly, it may be because you're still friendly with aldor and hated by scryers. You need to raise your scryer rep first before you can do anything. That means, doing more scryer quests and no "aldor rep" quests.

And yes, killing scryer npcs will lower your rep with them.

The only way to get your rep up with the Scryers is to do the repeatable quest "More Basilisk Eyes" from Arcanist Adyria in Lower City. She will talk to you even though you're hated with the Scryers. Once you get your rep up to Neutral you can start turning in Signets as you would normally.

Like Nocturnal said however, there are Aldor/Scryer-neutral enchanting trainers in Thrallmar/Honor Hold in HFP that you can talk to. If it matters to you that much to be able to talk to the one in Shatt go for it but I wouldn't think it's worth it.

Yes. The trainers in HH/thrallmar teach the exact same things as the ones in shatt.

I thought you couldn't toggle that off for factions you're hated/hostile with.

If you're staying aldor, and you're Horde, go to Thrallmar, and if you're Alliance go to Honor Hold.

Not sure about Thrallmar but in Honor Hold, the trainer is in the tower, up the hill just southwest of the flightpath.

Actually 2.3 (I think) made it to where all the city trainers can do up to 300. Saved us lower level enchanters a lot of trouble at the time.
