Mining in Eversong Woods and the GhostlandsFollow

Hey everyone. I am a level 14 Warlock getting started in skinning and mining. I hae skinning down pretty good but am a little confused about mining. Every once in a while I can find copper veins to mine but it takes a while to find some. Is there any websites or good guides to finding mining spots in Eversong Woods and the Ghostlands? Is there any mines at all? All I can find are copper veins on cliffs and stuff.

Thanks

cliffs and areas (rocky areas) are the places where you will be finding the vast majority of all of your veins, just remember to have track minerals up and just level your mining as you quest.

Wowhead had good maps

and then select the zone in which you are interested. There are less copper veins in Ghostlands because there are tin veins there as well, to accommodate those who have higher skill in mining.

There are areas that always have veins , the problem with being level 14 is that some of the better places have loads of mobs , its rocky areas and places like mines that you need to find , the dead scar has quite a few spawns in it but the mobs there will limit just how far along it you can get , the best bet at your level is to hunt down copper in the easier level places and remember where they are , i found by doing a large twisting circle around all the rocky areas i was able to get many stacks of copper ore , its memory of where you found them that will help you find more , not sure of any real great places though as the veins seem spread out around the cliffs .

if you were NE or Draenei there is one perfect place for copper ore in and around the stillpine ? hold , i can get about 4 or 5 stacks easily in an hour there

There is an addon i understand that will remember where you find veins , not sure exactly what it is called or just how good it is but i guess someone will let you know about that , i have never used it so cannot help you with the name.

I think the addon to which you are referring is Gatherer.
I found that using the interactive maps on this site allowed me to work out some good routes for mining around various areas.

Thunder Ridge in Durotar has a ton of copper veins for you to just keep running in circles and collecting.

I just had another thought , just remember if you see a spawn somewhere and next time you pass where it was there is none it could well be another miner has beaten you to it.

i remember farming ore in Tanaris running round and round the outside edge if no farmers beat me to the ore i was getting several spawns each circuit but if a farmer was ahead of me i was lucky to find one ..

most veins will show up in exactly the same area and some spawn far faster than others , good luck with your mining as it is a very profitable for extra gold at low levels , my mining alts were easily able to make 100g before they reached level 20 , and copper always sells well and is still an easy way to make gold at lower levels.
