ran laps around tanaris getting my mining up to 277 before i headed to hellfire. now i'm there and i can't mine anything since all the fel iron requires 300. could have sworn it was 275. seems like the stuff that will give me a sure skillup is kinda scarce (truesilver, thorium). looking for advice on where to go for those 23 points. i could go back and do laps at tanaris, at least i get a lot of mithril but that's green so...

Laps around Un'Goro crater worked for me, stopping each lap to run through the bug caves in the south and the gorilla cave in the east and hit the mines there.
Sucks, but you have to go mine Thorium. Burning Steppes is probably your best bet, but any 45+ area will have it and the 50+ areas are better. Check mapwow.com for a good ore locater.
I ran a few laps around Burning Steppes...then northern Winterspring..then back to burning steppes. It sucks, but you should make a boatload of money selling it on the AH.
For me, Burning Steppes was awesome for Thorium/Rich Thorium. EPL is also OK, but I had the best luck running laps around Burning Steppes. 1 lap could net 2 stacks of Thorium.
