So, I started a new priest on another server, and decided to go with Skinning/Tailoring. I'm level 13 and have gotten to Tailoring level 34 already, just making bolts of linen.
The problem is that I'm pretty sure making bolts of linen will go grey before I can *start* making bolts of wool.
I don't need a lot of money, because I was gifted 25g. by a higher level character, and the leather and other stuff sells well enough. That said, if there are items that *do* sell better than others, I'd like to know. On my other character, I have alchemy and herbalism: I sell Swiftness Potions and Shadow Oils (and an occasional Elixir of Ogre's Strength, as well as any potions I just come across, as opposed to making myself), and then just sell the herbs. I'd like to know if there was something similar for tailoring, especially at lower levels, or if I should just make what I need to level and vendor it, and then auction any additional bolts of linen.
As I said, I'm not looking for the best way to earn lots of money (I know the way to do that is two gathering professions), just want to make the best of the professions I do have (and the skinning is pretty easy to figure out).
Thanks to any who reply.
