Need help using enchantrix Follow

#1 Dec 22 2007 at 9:11 AM Rating: Good
So i have taken up disenchanting. So this is what I am doing
First I go to the auction house and scan it using auctioner
Then After that is done I type in /enchantrix percentless 50
Then all the items that are that kind of profit margin come up in my chat box
Now this is the part I need help on. How do I buy the items now. I have all the items listed in the chat box but is there a quicker of buying the items than just going under the section were the particular item is listed.

In your list of items, shift click the first one. That will put it's name in the AH search box. Then click the search button. This will bring up the item if it is still there. Verify the buyout price in the enchantrix list is the same as the one you are going to buy on the AH, then buy it.

Now go to the next item on the list and do the same thing until you have bought all the items listed by enchantrix.

De them all, and put the mats on the ah. Use auctioneer's "post auction" tab to put up your mats. That way if you have 80 arcane dust, you can just tell auctioneer to put up 20 x 4 stacks, or what ever other quantities you like. If they are expensive mats, I'll break some up into smaller quantities.

Another thing that helps is to create a separate chat window for your enchantrix messages. The print-in option will let you direct the percentless output to that window. No more percentless listing scrolling out of view as you buy items.

/enchantrix print-in <ChatName>

Feel free to play with the enchantrix percentage. If not enough items come up, you could lower it a bit. If too many come up for your liking, you could raise it. Once you can de higher level items, you may want to specify a minimum profit in the enchantrix options, like 1g. Play with it and find what works best for you.

you can also use bidbroker to your advantage in order to bid on items. You won't get them all, but since you get all of your gold back if you fail to win a bid it's never a loss. You will be surprised at how many BoE rares are put out with low bid prices.

To set up bidbroker:
use /enx show to bring up the enchantrix setup window. Click on Auctions and set your bidbroker parameters. You want to pay special care to set the profit percentages to match the percent you use when using percentless.

To use bidbroker:
type in /enx bidbroker 50. "50" means that you want 50 silver profit an anything that shows up. I have my bidbroker set a bit lower than 50 silver, but others like a larger amount (100 = 1 gold) - 50 seems like a decent amount as a comprimise. Like percentless, the list will be displayed in your chosen chat box.

Both perfect and excellent advice, a rate-up to the both of you.

I tend to use my bidbroker at 250-300 to make sure that it is a worthwhile bid price (generally gives me dream dust or better).

I've never done it this way, and I'm wondering if I'm missing something by not doing it this way. I usually scan the AH first and then go to the "Search Auctions" tab. I set my preferences for the search on the left, and it brings back a listing of all the items meeting my search parameters. I can then buy right from that list by either right clicking and bidding or purchasing, or using the bid/buy button on the bottom.

Am I missing something doing it this way? I know there are other ways to use enchantrix but this is the only way I've ever done it.

It's easy to compare results. Do it your way and get a list. Then do it from the chat line with the same parameters. Are the lists the same?

When I tried it your way, it seemed I was getting the profit of the suggested item sale price minus the buyout, rather than the enchant mat value minus the buyout. This caused me to get different results with the two methods.
