That is the horde trainer. If you are Alliance then you can go see Sarah Tanner

Keep in mind that depending on your spec, Elemental may not be the best for you.

Elemental = rogue/feral druid
Tribal = caster druids

I'd be careful with Elemental. Until Blizzard just sucks it up and gives our lv 70 epic Primal Intent set sockets, the BoP elemental recipes are severely gimp. My current blue lv 62 chest I got from being Honored wit h the Cenarians is almost as good (with cheap gems in the sockets) as the epic lv 70 elemental Primalstrike Vest.

There are some things about it that are better, yes, but compared to other gear I have seen out there of a lower level and only blue, the Primalstrike Vest just doesn't seem very "epic" to me. Yes, it's an upgrade, but are the mats really worth it for an upgrade that seems so small? I'm debating skipping the Primal Strike Vest and jump in to working towards better armor.

The belt and bracers, however, are full of win.

Are you honestly comparing this to this?

I'd say that 90hp, 8hit, and over 50AP, not to mention the set bonuses, make the Primalstrike more than "just as good."

You forgot the Extra 141 armor from the Primalstike. =P

I do gain more AP, yes, but I threw +3 hit +3 agi gems in my sockets (they go for 75-95S on my server) which brings my +hit to 13. Still, not as much AP, true. Forgive me, I should have said "almost" as good and I meant statwise. More armor, more AP, but I still don't see why the agility bonus didn't go up without there being sockets. I'd also like to see some +crit on there. Maybe I'm just upset because the Primal Intent set seems to be the only end game specialty crafted set that isn't socketed? If there were sockets, I would love it, that way I could add some crit to it.

Either way, it's a debateable upgrade for me, wether or not I want to invest in making it to wear while working towards better gear when I ding 70. I'll admit, you have your point, and I know the piece is better, but on a personal level I have to ask myself if mats are worth it for such a small upgrade or should I just jump right in to working towards something else?

Don't get me wrong, I'm making the bracers and the belt, I'm just not sure if the chest is worth it. I'm sorry, the vest just doesn't seem "epic" to me.

I absolutely get what you're saying. Personally, I'm holding out for the Chestguard of the Conniver, but the Primalstrike Vest might just have to do until then.

I will admit, I am not to 70 yet, and my main just hit 65. So I really don't know how long it's going to take to upgrade to better gear. I grinded out my CE rep for my Hauberk early, because I knew (after researching) that it would last me for a while. Looking again at the Primal Strike Vest after getting my Hauberk, I was disappointed. Especially considering I had specced elemental way back in the day looking forward to the set. I just fear that it will be replaced way too quickly.

I'll probably end up making it anyway, but the lack of sockets (compared to other specialty crafted lv 70 gear) really turned me off.

What other specialty crafted gear? Are you talking about cloth gear? Plate gear?

As far as I know, the Primalstrike set is the best crafted rogue gear you'll find. Possibly the best Kitty druid crafted gear as well, but I wouldn't know.

Yes. My main thing is that if the Primal Intent set had sockets, I could add some wicked noble topaz gems to it, which would make me happy by helping add more to my crit.

I need to do some more extensive research as to what is available, considering the nethers I will need to craft it. Like I said, I want the belt and bracers while the vest was Iffy. But I suppose the set bonus is worth it.
