To those to make a ton of money by reselling stuff on the AH, what are some items that you resell for profit? I hear Sunfury Signets and Marks of Sargeras are great, as well as Netherweave Cloth. Anybody have anything else to add? That's all, thanks for your time.

Enchanting supplies only. No cost to put up for auction = profit for every copper you sell it above the price you bought it for.

There's no deposit to list, but the auction still takes a cut on the sale. If you're not careful, you can nickle and dime yourself to death.

What kind of enchanting supplies? Any specific items? I don't have enough knowledge on the game to decide for myself haha. I'm sure most of you have used Auctioneer but it has lost me so much money due to my lack of knowledge on what's in demand and what's not, so the things I buy for profit never sell. I'm just not going to use it anymore and try something new.

Any of the dusts/essences. On my old server I had pretty good luck with greater eternal essences.

Interesting. Greater Planar Essences as well as Arcane Dusts also do well or so I hear. Do enchanters out there need essences/dusts in stacks of 20 or do they often buy only one essence or dust at a time?

I normally sold essences in singles and dusts in stacks of 10 or 20.

Hey thanks for the info dude. So my list for some things I can try to make profit on will be:

Mark of Sargera (Stacks as big as possible)
Sunfury Signet (Stacks as big as possible)
Greater Eternal Essence (1)
Greater Planar Essence (1)
Arcane Dust (Stack of 20)

Anyone have anything else to contribute?

illusionary dust can sell very well depending on your market. same goes with vision dust and nether essences.

Nether Dragon Scales and or Primals. If you see someone selling primals in the trade channel of the AH for a lower price than that of the competition. Buy them out and re sell them for the same price as all of the others that have been posted, and repeat. This seems to work very well for me.

This may not be the answer you want to hear, but profit items can vary from realm to realm. I play several different characters on several different realms and the markets are all different. On one, specific ores could be a hot item for a while, then it could change. On another, enchant mats can be good and on another those same mats can be bottom of the barrel with the market being flooded. In the end, it will take some effort to watch the market on your server and see where the trends are, but it will never be a "one size fits all" panacea that is guaranteed on every server. The economies are generally dynamic and pricing usually finds its equilibrium. The trick is to be just that half step in front and have the ability to adapt to a fluid market.

tailors use 2x arcane dust to make their imbued netherweave cloth (which is used to craft spell/shadow/mooncloth). i sell in stacks of 4 for 8g. i could not sell a stack of 20 for 40g to save my life, though :P

mana & health pots are regularly consumed. i buy mana pots at least once a week.

ppl also buy cooked mudfish regularly (fished from the rivers of nagrand). fishing there is an easy way to collect a lot of primal water, as well.

eternal & nether essences are good sellers (i believe because of all the ppl obsessed with getting Agi enchants)

illusion dust can be profitable, simple because it's hard to get now that most lvl 57-60 items DE into arcane dust or lesser planar essence.

i've found i'm the only one selling mana oil, as well. very profitable... sometimes requires relisting (but that's ok, because my margins are ridiculous)

Arcane Dust and Dream Dust are my big ones. There is a long stretch in leveling enchanting where every recipe takes 10 dream dust, so stacks os 20 go fast. As for Arcane Dust, there are several enchants such as the assault enchants that use only 6-10 arcane dust. These enchants go like crazy so Arcane Dust (which is also used in agility to boots) have a constant sell rate.

In fact, I found a nice secret to skilling up a profession cheaply and still making money off of it. My rogue is a leateherworker and I will find the cheapest green to make that still gives skillups. AH is flooded with them and you get more from the vendor for them. So, I make a million of the one item, send them to my enchanter alt, DE them, then sell the mats for profit. Say I use 20 gold worth of LW mats to skill up on those, I would usually get around 30 gold from the disenchanted mats.

My recent skillup items DEed into Illusion Dust, which made me an insane amount of profit, up around 200% and sometimes over that. So yeah, I would definitely say enchanting mats are good to sell.

Other than that, Thick and Rugged Leather, Silver an Iron Ore (ore usually goes for a lot more than bars on my server), and Scorpid Scales. I used to run around Tanaris farming Scorpid Scales all the time as they sold VERY well on my server. I'd spend an hour farming 2 stacks (was level 45ish), then sell them for 15-17g a stack at the AH.

Yea I agree with the arcane dust and planar essences. I can easily sell a stack of arcane dust for right around 20-30 gold buyout since the dust is used both by enchanters as well as tailors for imbued netherweave cloth. The planar essences on my server will usually go for an average of 15 gold buyout for a stack of 10. The other big seller for me is the magic essence...think that's the lvl 50ish one that you get from some of the green 50ish armor.

That's right, I almost forgot about that.

I have a question then, would it be more profitable to sell enchanting supplies at the lowest timer you can?

I'm just thinking, if I put it up for 12 hours over and over, it doesn't cost me more than one 12 hour post. If I put them up at the 48 hour interval, I could pay for up to a 48 hour postage price.

Am I right on this?

It's impossible to say that anything will sell well 100%.

Remember that economies vary from server to server

The best option is to keep your eye on your own market.

I just found out how true this really is. On my first server (Nordrassil) beginning level greens go for 25s - 75s. I recently rerolled on Kilrogg and to my shock those same items are going for 1g - 5g.

Some things too, on my server at least, are Small Radiant Shard. Depending on whether or not the AH is flooded with them (because people tend to put all of the items on there instead of doing little by little, which tends to bring the price of the item down) they usually go for about 9-10g per shard.
