auction house problemFollow

Now that there is supposedly the new auction house times, the 12/24/48 hour patch, I found over the weekend that when I go to the auction house I still have the old times, and can't place items for a 24 hour buyout, only 8 or 2 hours. Is this becuase my auctioneer addon is out of date, or should I open a ticket with a GM?

Go download the latest version of Auctioneer. It's barely 3 days old and everything works flawlessly. They have it up at curse.com.

Auctioneer is not out of date. You just don't have the latest version.

If the previous version is replaced with a newer one, the previous version is not on that computer any more. The main point being that if something like "[addon of choice] is out of date" is posted, the poster should check before posting to make certain he is correct. It's the reason that SeldoonYbHtaed went sub-default, and you went default when you agreed. BTW, it wasn't just me downrating - it takes more than one person to cause a sub or default to display, and inaccurate information is a good way of getting there.

Those two posts really showed that while all information is at your fingertips due to the internet, so is all misinformation.
