Farming high-lvl tailoring patternsFollow

I'm a 375 tailor who's been looking to acquire more purple/blue patterns for my craft-possibly to make some money by making the items for people in trade channel. I've searched a number of patterns. The patterns I've seen don't appear to be farmable.

Are there any patterns out there which are known for being farmable? Specifically ones that you can gather yourself-no instances.

Thanks!

Hmm you mention no instances and farmable. So that would probably mean your best option is the bop recipes which may drop from the mobs in the Outlands zones.

Those are usually good to get to 375, but not necessarily big money making items like the ones you could get in the instances.

You might also consider faction recipes in that case. Not everyone has those. You'll still need some groups but they are for heroic instances. While that requires more work than regular instance, but it's also not as hectic as getting to a raid instance.

Eg, Ardor and Scryer faction is soloable, eventually allowing you to get their epic/blue recipes.

From what I know the majority of the major tailoring patterns (that are sellable) are in instances, Spellstrike/Battlecast come to mind, then the Belt of Blasting later in the T5 instances.

Best thing you can do then is to farm gold and buy the patterns from the AH if you aren't into instances.
