elemental leatherworkingFollow

So as my subject states, I'm curious about elemental leatherworking. My question is there even a reason as a rogue to go this route? Now for the most part I just do PVE. I've done a few BG's but nothing since the expansion came out. So I guess do I even really need to go the elemental route or should I just get my leatherworking to 375, run a few heroics to get the primals I need for the epic items and not worry about it? I don't plan on doing any raids in the forseeable future since my real life is a little to busy to devote more than a few hours a week to playing wow. Thx for any input

If you can't do the instances for the real ********* stuff then elemental is prolly the best of the LW routes for rogues. Or maybe do PvP/arena for those rewards? But you said you were going PvE route so- yes - I suppose elemental works fine and it wasn't expensive for my rogue when I did it.

Hello,

I am a lvl 53 Night Elf rogue who has chosen the elemental leatherworking path. I was a little late in that choice, to be honest. I wanted a Helm of Fire, but you didn't have to specialize to make that so I didn't, I just learned the recipe then I made one. Helm of Fire was a massive upgrade from my Nihtscape Headband I had made several levels before, and depending upon if you prefer DPS over stamina, then the Wicked Headband still didn't beat it. It was level 49 when I chose my path for sure, but that was because I finally did some research. I'd wished that I had done that research earlier because the first recipe I learned was a BoE lvl 41 set of gloves, Gauntlets of the Sea.

The next recipe was BoP, Blackstorm Leggings. I made a pair simply because I needed to feel accomplished after choosing my path, and besides, my next upgrade was at lvl 55. Took a while farming the mats, but that didn't bother me. They made great battleground pants.

Some of the better recipes are drops though, so you have to go out looking for them, but they are definitely rogue recipes. A lot of them are BoE recipes that could make you some serious cash, you would just have to go farm a few BoP mats.

But the real meat and potatoes comes from the trainer in the form of level 65-70 epic rogue gear. Some of it is absolutely amazing and well suited for gearing up before you start collecting your end game gear. That's why I decided to go with elemental, because of those recipes (straight from the trainer) right there.

Go here: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/skill.html?line=165 then scroll towards the bottom and you will see a list of elemental recipes. After doing my research, I realized that all those people that said elemental was for rogues were right. Warning, it's a very expensive path.

I hope this helps!
