Hi, I'm a lvl 6 blood elf rogue (just trying rogue for the first time i'm used to hunter). Anyway I can finlly use the find minerals skill for mining without losing out on something else so I'm doing mining and for my secod skill I decide to do JC on my server low lvl rings sell for loads not sure abut higher lvls but im guessing they increase in price. anyway Is this good for a rogue? I think I could prbably make more money then mining alone with this but the rings/necklaces are probably harder to sell. Is there another good combination for rogues? (i dont want to do skinning/lw)

Jewelcrafting really doesn't get profitable until you can start cutting gems, at level 300 (i.e. Outlands). Until then, it's just a money sink.

I'd go with mining/enchanting. DE mats are a great money maker (because they have no listing price at the AH).

I agree - enchanting is a great profession to take. Get a quest reward you can't use? Don't sell it to a vendor for 30s - disenchant it and sell the mats for 1+ gold!

Selling enchants is pointless - offer the enchants for free but put the mats up on the auction house

Unless you have a high lvl toon to fund your JC, it doesn't get good until you're able to cut gems. If you want to make gold fast and at lower lvls, go with enchanting. Esp. since they're now re-balancing the location of the Master Enchanter (no longer have to go to Uldaman if you're pre-58 for training) for the next patch.

This is the first I've heard about moving the Master Enchanter. Maybe I should have read the 2.3 notes but hey... Anyway, if the OP gets transported to Shattrath, the Enchanting trainers are on the Scryers tier, which is populated by blood elves. He should feel right at home there.

My suggestion would be blacksmithing. It can be a major money sink, probably one of the two(?) worst crafting professions for that, but there's rogues that swear they use the weapons made from blacksmithing for a long time after reaching lvl 70.
