After reading a lot of Goblin vs. Gnomish Engineering threads, I'm still at little stuck with the decision. I think I'm leaning a little towards Goblin.
I'm open for any advice to make me sway one way or the other.
My other question is if I were to choose Goblin Specialization, the only way to change to Gnomish is to drop Engineering and start over from 0, right?

Bombs and explosions or funny trinkets and explosions.
if one looks a little more enjoyable to you, just go for it.
i am pretty sure there is a unlearn/relearn option without having to re-skill the entire profession, but cant actually confirm.

Goblin Engineering - Blowing **** up
Gnome Engineering - Nifty trinkets that can make or break you in combat.
As a Rogue, I went with gnomish, it has many useful doo-dads that can keep you breathing, I can't count the number of times my Net Projector has saved my ***.
Other nifty gadgets to play with as well, but again, it's all opinion.
