I am a gnome rouge, and i would like some opinions on what people think the best profs would be
Engineering. Period. There ya go. =)
Eng and Alc.
Eng for all the bombs and trinks
Alc for the pots and buff
also, cooking for food buffs if you want to get crazy.

I know one twink who levelled fishing just so he could get the hat from the STV Extravaganza.

When its a twink i stronly recommend enchanting.

Engineering, of course. Also, Jewelcrafting: gives you more great BoP trinkets. Any other profession, you can buy anything they craft on the AH or craft them with your main/alts.

Well unless you're going for the Lucky Fishing Hat. You're going to need engineering for you're Green Tinted Goggles. This is assuming you are a 19 twink.
