im currently a level 7 blood elf priest and i need quick money what professions should i go
mining and herbalism
Two gathering professions, plus fishing.
At level 7, you don't really need quick money. You only need enough to pay your training costs, which aren't much. Kill everything you meet that's green or yellow, avoid orange and red mobs. Invest in larger bags before you spend any gold on weapons or armor. Loot everything, AH greens and mats, vendor everything else.

To make the most money, do two gathering professions.
I chose mining and herbalism. Skinning could replace mining.
Buy most crafted things from guildmates or the auction house (carefully)
Get big bags as soon as possible; this should be your first priority above any other until you have those 14 or 16 slot bags.
Make sure to send everything to your auction house alts to sell.
They can store things you may need later.
Have several toons to send stuff to and to play auctioneer.
The toon playing auctioneer made more money than gathering and selling stuff from my main--now 61 ever did. Figure out what will sell for money.
Maybe you will stumble across somethings to make $$
For me, it was dragonhawks!

I would take either herbalism or mining but not both. The minimap in the upper right is used to show herbs and veins. You don't want to be constantly toggling between looking for herbs and looking for mining veins. I suggest skinning as the second trade skill.
