Question: How to get past Blacksmithing 225Follow

#1 Oct 03 2007 at 1:56 PM Rating: Decent
After working Blacksmithing up to 225/225 how does one up the limit to 225/300 so as to be able to progress towards a skill level of 300? Have been to (Horde) smith trainers in Orgrimmar and Booty Bay, but they just permit training for specific items, not increasing the limit to /300.

You have to be level 35 to get any skill raised over 225. If you have the level, the trainer tells where to go to train.

First of all, are you Level 35 yet? You can't get past 225 crafting skill unless you are the proper level.

If you are 35 or better, then here are your trainers:

* Brikk Keencraft (Stranglethorn) [Recipes]
* Okothos Ironrager (Orgrimmar) [Armorsmith]
* Borgosh Corebender (Orgrimmar) [Weaponsmith]

I am lvl 70. So that is not the problem. But none of the BS trainers in Orgimmar, or the one in Booty Bay, have given me any directions as to where to go next.

Hmm.. *tries to remember*

Have you tried the chap in StrangleThorn, Brikk ..something(?) or maybe your specialist trainer in the capital?

Remmeber you need the gold for training (5g?) on you to get the training i think too.

Happy smithing, hero.

I have stumbled upon the solution. No one sent me, but was able to train to Artisan i.e. /300 with Grutah in Shadowmoon Village.
