Fishing profitable?Follow

#1 Sep 19 2007 at 8:02 AM Rating: Decent
Well, I'm now in the Outlands and things are pretty awesome there.

My herbalism and tailoring is going well as are all my secondary profs - except fishing which is at 275.

Of course I can't fish anywhere in the Outlands as my skill level is not high enough.

Is it worth me spending more time leveling my fishing skill or just continue questing? I find fishing sooo boring too.

Is there good money to be made when I reach a skill of 375? What kind of fish can I catch?

Thanks,

Mark

OL fishing is beneficial. You'll save a lot of money you would have spent on food, if you fish. How profitable it can be really depends.

There are a lot of good food buffs from cooked OL fish. You can both use these for your own benefit and sell them to others. The profit to be had selling them really depends on your server. But, things like Spicy Crawdad or Golden Fish Sticks probably will have a market.

As for specifics, http://www.capsu.org/wow/ is pretty much the be all, end all of fishing information.

Thanks for the links. Very useful. Might give the fishing competition a go too! :-)
