Okay, i just got to 225 leatherworking and i see there are 3 different types of leatherworking after this. (dragonscale, elemental and tribal) My question is do you have to CHOOSE one of these and train nothing but that type or do u make all 3? If it is just 1, what do u recommend i choose as a balance druid?

You can only choose one specialization, and in order to re-spec, you have to unlearn leatherworking and start all over again. For a Balance druid, Tribal Leatherworking is the natural choice, to make the Windhawk set at 70.

This is not correct, you only have to unlearn whatever specialization you have to learn another (cost 100g), you do not have to relearn leatherworking itself from scratch.

Check out the wowwiki page on LW for more information on specializations and which patterns you can learn.

oooh, i see you have to do a quest to specialise in a certain type, phew. thought i may have accidently started learning a specific type before i posted this topic.

EDIT: k, stupid question, at the tribal leatherworker, can ya learn normal LW stuff at the tribal LW trainer or is it JUST Tribal? cus im really not looking forward to going between the hinterlands and feralas

The Tribal leatherworker there will only teach you how to make tribal goods. The other patterns and whatnot need to be taught by the trainer at Aerie Peak (as well as being bought and found).

Sorry, gotta make the trip (It sucks, I know)
