What are the enchanting recipes that make money (are desired by people)? I found a list once but can't find it again : (

Unless things have changed since I last had an enchanter, the actual enchanting part of enchanting is not the way to make money. There are too many people that are willing to give enchants free to really make an income off it. Disenchanting is your moneymaker.

But I want to level 375 (305 atm) without losing much money.

I heard Mongoose is desirable by many.

The problem with Mongoose is that it is a level 375 enchant. Meaning you aren't going to level up with it. The ones that I seem to sell a lot are:
Enchant Weapon Spell Power (+40 spell power, drop from a mob in Blades edge (need flying mount to get there))
Enchant Weapon Superior healing (+81 healing, rep (revered with The Shat'ar)
Enchant Weapon Savagery (70 AP to two hander, drop from Shattered halls)
Enchant Chest Superior Stats (+6 to all stats, don't know where it drops)
Enchant Chest Superior Health (+150 health)
Enchant Back Superior Agility (+12 Agility)
Enchant Weapon Superior Striking (rep, I believe honored with Consortium).

Those are really the only ones that I have sold, and most of those are at level 350+ or require a lot of rep / grinding. They are also the ones that you need to be higher level to get. You might want +30 int (Netherstorm drop), but I have only sold one of those.

Best of luck leveling, it is a pain.

Mongoose is 375 and drops in kara.

Heres a quick list of what I think are fairly popular enchants, grouped by level. I'm not listing every possible enchant, but there should be a medium to small market for all of these enchants. Most of them are world drops, drop in instances, come from vendor, ie: they're anything but trainer learned enchants. If you go far out of your way to aquire the good enchants from instances, drops, you're more likely to have people pay your way to 375 enchanting.

300 - Enchant Bracer Assault (+24 AP)
300 - Enchant Gloves Superior Agility (+15 agi)
305 - The trainer enchants for bracers (int, strength)
310 - SUPERIOR MANA OIL <- Make tons and sell on AH
310 - Enchant Cloak Major Agility (+12 agi)
315 - Enchant Chest Superior Health (+150 hp)
320 - Enchant Boots Fortitude (+12 stam)
325 - Enchant Bracer Superior Healing (+30 healing)
325 - Enchant Shield Major Stamina (+18 stam)
335 - Enchant Bracer Restore Mana Prime (+6mp5)
340 - SUPERIOR WIZARD OIL <- Make tons and sell on AH
340 - Enchant Boots Dexterity (+12 agi)
345 - Enchant Chest Exceptional Stats (+6 stats)
345 - Enchant Chest Major Resilience (+15 resilience)
350 - Enchant 2H Weapon Savagery (+70 AP)
350 - Enchant Bracer Fortitude (+12 stam)
350 - Enchant Gloves Major Healing (+35 healing)
* 350 - Enchant Weapon Greater Agility (+20 agility)
350 - Enchant Weapon Major Healing (+81 healing)
350 - Enchant Weapon Major Spellpower (+40 spell damage)

* Coming in next patch

Stopping at 350 because I'm bored and this will take you forever anyways.

excellent list there Mike.

Although I would still recommend doing the 'ol Auctioneer+Enchantrix D/E for profits thing to buy your mats or get them (at level 300 you can D/E every item in the game).

All those enchants are things I could see 70's of different classes using. Generally its 70s buying enchants, since their gear is a bit more permanent then a 66 who's leveling and saving for a flying mount. I didn't enchant my gear often while leveling.

Also, take huge advantage of leveling on those oils. Wizard and Mana Oils, I'd buy mats and make them till they're green. Dont flood the market, list around 5 server time for 8 hours, I bet they'll all sell to the raiders that night. At worst you lose about 2-3g per oil, which gets you an enchanting point. At best you make a few gold on the side, while breaking through that 310-325 period, and 340-355 period. They come from vendors, I didn't look up where, but I always made sure to skill up off wizard + mana oils on my mage.

Theres some at 300 too, I didn't list those because they're alot more expensive mats wise (they use large brilliant shards).

I plan on combining a little of both on my mage -- get some popular enchants for a few free skillups when I'm in a city. And disenchant daily so I can afford to just to blow a bunch of enchants on my own gear. I mean 1-292, I dont think I've done a single enchant for anyone yet. But once I hit outlands I'll go a little out of my way to get some popular enchants. I wont get every one on the list, but I want to feel like a fairly complete enchanter.

And my mats will be on the AH anyways. So I'll make a few small enchanting macros, use them while I'm hopping through a city, if someone responds with a serious offer (they have mats), I have the portals to meet them wherever. If the enchant is grey to me, I probably won't waste my time unless they're right beside me, or paying me gold. Theres a good chance they'll buy my mats anyways :)

A tip on top is just a bonus, especially if it gets me a skill point.

Icy, no.

Fiery, is popular, I'd buy the formula if its cheap (~30g). The thing is, when you get fiery, you'll have a ridiculous amount of noobs hounding you, trying to rip you off. Be firm, don't use your own mats. Instead keep your mats listed on the AH, and offer "enchanting fiery weapon with your mats, tips appreciated".

But on my server the fiery formula goes for too much gold, like 80-100. Not worth it, unless you sit in trade all day spamming enchants. Say the average person tips you 2 gold, you'd have to do 50 just to pay it off. I'd pay up to 30, but only if it skilled me up alot while I was doing the enchants. So if I was a 375 enchanter, I probably wouldn't bother with it. But if I was 265 and I saw it cheap on the AH, I'd buy it up because you'll get alot of people skilling you up and giving you tips on top of it. It stays yellow until at least 290, not sure if it greens out after that.

Personally, I would recommend farming for the Fiery enchant yourself. Find a couple of friends, preferably lvl 65+, and run to the boss in BRD that drops it. It is a pretty common drop, and he is not very tough to get to.

I had a 70 friend to get fiery for me. Took him 30 mins

Check out the enchanting recipes that drop off trash mobs in Outlands instances. For example, Boots Fortitude (+12 Sta) drops off trash in Mana Tombs. It's usually in high demand, and the mats are cheap.

If it's a pattern that can be bought from a trainer, the demand will be low because everyone has it. Try targeting the stuff that come from drops.
