Fish attractors usually sell well, just keep listing them, they should sell. Its something a low level engineer can make that even 70s will buy, they are the best lures in the game.
How much are you charging for them? I remember selling stacks of 20 for 10g, but I split them into 5 stacks for 2.5g each. They sold like hotcakes. This is on my engineer hunter who's only level 22 and basically retired. So I obviously don't rely on him to make me gold, but whenever I played him and had the mats -- I'd make those things, and they sold well all the time.
Also scopes sell well. And bullets.
But if you got into engineering for gold, you probably picked the wrong profession. Thats not to say you CAN'T make gold from it, but its harder then other professions. I think ammo, scopes and fish attractors will be your bread and butter. If you're serious about sticking with it, keep an eye out for good plans, like better scopes and stuff. I remember reading an engineer who basically bought his epic flyer by selling scopes as he leveled, I checked his armory and he wasn't lying either (as far as I could tell). 375 mining, 375 engineering, 300 riding skill and the nice engineering helm.
