DE forcing me to click loot windowFollow

#1 Aug 29 2007 at 1:39 PM Rating: Decent
Hey everyone, almost every time I disenchant something I have to actually click the loot window before I can move on to the next item. I know it's a really minor issue, but the second every time annoys me. Someone told me to shift-click DE but that didn't work. Anyone?

Same thing.
I have automatic loot on all my toons but for some reason it doesnt work when I disenchant or prospect on my alts. Only first loot I get automatically but each one after that I have to click.

And I agree, it IS annoying.

I agree with that, especially when I'm DEing about 40 items it would go a lot faster.

I agree it is pretty annoying, I hope something gets fixed with auto-loot.

I have the reverse situation, the first item I DE I have to click, the next ones autoloot works fine. So it doesn't drive me crazy.

Same here, but i have found a work around. What i do is go to my mailbox, and fill my bags. Keep your mail window open, and d/e the first item, while it is d/eing, click your mailbox, it will auto loot it, so every d/e, i click my mailbox while casting, and i dont have to loot :)

At that point you're still having to do an extra click each time, so it's not that great of a work around.

I too am finding a similar problem, only sometimes it will autoloot, and sometimes it won't. Hopefully it will be fixed in an upcoming patch.

i have an addon called i think telos quick loot or something along those lines, and it move the loot window to where ever my cursor is, comes in really handy when d/e

You dont need a mod to have the loot window move to where your cursor is its is now an option in the blizzard UI under interface options. I have this problem also when prospecting and it is quite annoying.

The best fix I've found to this problem is to use this macro:

/script CloseLoot()

and hotkey it. You still have to press a key, but you don't have to worry about clicking in the right place, and you can keep your mouse hovering over your inventory. I have disenchant hotkeyed to z, loot macro to x so i just keep spamming z,x.
