For me and getting this was easy,i had a many spots but the most unfarmed unused places would be in Hillsbrad. There are two place roughly in same area. The one i used which was the yeti cave is a 50-50 chance no one is useing.. If no one is in it you can make circle around there starting from outfront to both end points then repeat. It is filled with yeti's that drop med/heavy leather and they are level 30-32. This place is located just north of Southshore.. Now another place i had good luck with was just a bit more north where the yeti cave is.. No one was ever there for me, I was farming the cats roughly around 30-33. Both near a town for horde and alliance so i saw nothing wrong with it.

I have no problems getting medium/heavy leather in Desolace. I've been there for the last few days, and have yet to spot a single hordie. Hillsbrad is more contested with constant raids on both Southshore and Tarren Mill. I have yet to see an attack on Nijel's Point, Shadowprey Village, or Ghostwalker Post.
