So I just dinged 350 with Tailoring yesterday (STOKED!!!), and I'm confused concerning selling cooldowns. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how exactly does this work?
Well someone who is "selling" there cooldowns is a person like an Alchemist for expample who can make things (trasmutes) that have a long cooldown of usually 4 days. They sell them so you can get mats you need like primal mights and stuff faster by using there cooldowns.
I understand the fundamentals of it. But when you sell a cooldown rather than just the cloth, are you selling it for X amount of time or just the one time deal? I ask because I'm not going to be using my Spellcloth or Primal Mooncloth cooldowns at all for myself, so figured I'd sell them off to someone else for dough.
Selling cooldwon = selling your ACTUAL cooldown, not each cooldown you got. Say:
"Selling my cooldown on Primal Mooncloth" will only sell 1 cooldown. They have to bring their mats of course, but instead of not using it, you make some money.
All in all: one time deal normally (though i never heard of buying your cooldowns for several bolts of cloth in advance).
