Where do I get 1. aid training from 300-> ?
I have read one post here regarding the same, but it seems that you have to have TBC installed. Is it possible to get it without TBC installed??

No. The trainer is in outlands.

For Horde the trainer is in Falcon Watch in HFP, not sure about Alliance.

The "trainer" in the Outlands is really just a vendor that sells books to teach you Master First Aid and the new netherweave bandages.

I am not aware of any labeled restriction on the books other than a minimum skill requirement. So it may be possible for a TBC account to purchase the Master First Aid book and mail it to a character without TBC installed. Or for the non-TBC account to buy the book from the AH.

This is conjecture - I don't know for sure if it's possible.

It is possible to read the book for first aid without TBC installed. I did that for both First Aid and Fishing before I installed TBC.

Ask a guildie that has TBC to buy it before going to the AH, they will rip you off in the AH, just like all skill-up books/recipes that can be bought from vendors(both limited availability items and unlimited), they jack the price up severely in the AH, just in hopes that people either don't know they can be bought off vendors, don't know how much the vendor item costs from teh vendor, or people just don't care about the price because they don't feel like going to get it.

Like the recipe transmute: arcanite, costs 5g at vendor, up for 15g in AH. 3x the costs, rip off. Ask a guildie to pick it up for you first.

Question about first aid though. Is there a point to getting 300+ and netherweave bandage before going to BC? I've been lvl 300 since about lvl 52, and didn't think there would be any point in getting it higher since I was under the impression that the cloth didn't drop anywhere but in outlands. Is this wrong? I know you can buy that off AH, but it's not worth it when runecloth works just fine for me for now.

That is a valid point. If you are not in the Outlands, that probably means you aren't 60+ and therefore don't have the HP pool required to benefit from Netherweave and Heavy Netherweave Bandages. You are still better off just using Heavy Runecloth Bandages.

However, you cannot learn Netherweave Bandages until your skill is 330, so if you can go ahead and uncap 375 First Aid while still collecting runecloth, you will be ahead of the game when you enter the Outlands. It takes quite a few Heavy Runecloth bandages to hit 330.

Yeah I didn't know netherweave wasn't avaialable until 330, I guess I should go ahead and get the next level of first aid so that I can level up while making heavy runecloths, because I do go through them quite often as a warrior, hell I went through like 2 stacks in a few hours last night doing some yellow quests soloto level up. But it's kind of none issue for me now anyway, since I'm about that level to buy BC anyway, just putting it out there so that others may benefit if they find themselves asking the same questions.
