Weres the best/fastest place to farm Thick leather? Im lvl 61 BM hunter.
By fastest i mean an area were mobs are large in numbers or at least close together and by best mean have best chance to drop the leather.

STV always has plenty of animals to skin. I am not sure if the lower level ones (level 30) would yield any heavy leather but the higher level ones should. They are more towards BB and are level 40 or so.

I tryed near BB and 90% of the mobs i skinned gave me heavy leather which isnt what i need. Thxs for reply though.

Try the turtles in the Hinterlands along the coast. :).

ungoro crater the raptors and almost everything i think by the tanaris entrance best for me on thick leather
The hippogryphs in Feralas were always one of my favorite leather farms. They're all packed in fairly close together, and there's an absolute ****-ton of them down there.

Agree with Demea, the hippogryphs seem the best for me, fast kills, good skinning.
Yetis in feralas. There are 2 caves, I recall the northern cave is better for thick.
As a hunter, though, 2 mobs (lower than you) on you in Un’goro shouldn’t be a problem, right?

try the yeti in the alterac mountains (sp) I was able to farm lots of thick leather there and there are lots of the yeti around, I never ran out of yeti to kill....

I think that I would vote for Feralas and also Tanaris... Un'Goro will give you some, but you also get into the next range, meaning you will be getting the rugged leather as well.
