Weres best place to farm medium leather?

You don't mention your level or your skinning level, but you can also try the Yeti in the cave north of Southshore in Hillsbrad. They are 30-31 if I recall, and I regularly get medium, and sometimes heavy, leather from them with my alt (L32 Hunter).

There must be a quest involving these poor boys because there often are Hordies running through the cave dropping them, and leaving them for me to skin.

Yea sry i forgot to give you guys more info my skinning is 309 and im lvl 61 hunter.

For being lvl 61, I also would suggest to solo SFK.

Maybe you’ll get those nice desireable boe drops while getting leather.

As far as getting heavy and thick and rugged, since you’ll soon be moving on to those, just kill the appropriate level monsters. That may involve changing zones or else, if you go to somewhere like STV and ungoro, you’ll be set for all your leather needs till you get back to knothide. The advantage of zones like STV and Blasted lands is that you may often find available corpses for you to skin, left behind by all the questers.
