Leatherworking Trainers QuestionFollow

I've looked up the list for alliance trainers at the Grand-Master level and neither have patterns above 340. If there aren't any higher trainers am I right to assume patterns above that level are drop-only?

The answer to you're question is no, the trainer will not have more freebie recipies for you to learn. That doesn't mean that there aren't more "easy" to get patterns. Here's an example of an easy pattern to get.

What you'll want to do is a little faction exploring. Try looking up the faction reputation rewards for the various races around BC. This is just one of many examples. The constortium is relitively easy to gain rep with. Just head to nagrand and grind out some of those really big void walkers. The items they drop (shadow motes) sell well enough on Crushridge, and I think as a leatherworker you may even use them in your craft later. May as well start the grind for your mats now while earning some nummy faction.

I hope this helped.

Talk to the Honor Hold and Cenarion Expedition Quartermasters. Honor Hold QM is right there in town, and CE QM is in Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh. You can get your first patterns from them at Honored, and then progressively better patterns at subsequent levels of rep. Can't speak to the Consortium or other factions because I've just "finished" Zangarmarsh and am moving on to Terokkar so only know HH and CE so far.

You'll need "honored" rep to buy the first patterns they have available but just from quests and stuff you should be at or close to it. If you're close to CE Honored but no cigar collect/buy "Unidentified Plant Parts" and that should push you over the edge. I turned in that easy quest like 5 times at 250 rep a pop to get there.

(note that this page only talks about Thrallmar which is Horde but the Alliance equivalent in HH is the same)

Clefthide Leg Armor

The mats for these two items are superspendy but the few I've made have been snapped up in AH for a tidy profit.

I'm level 63 and like LW343...I've decided to pretty much take a break to save up for epic mount because at 350 you officially can't make ANYTHING that you can use until 69 or 70.
