If I skill up engineering to 350+ to make something like... http://wow.allakhazam.com/item.html?witem=32476 would I lose the ability to wear it if I changed proffessions afterwards?

ifrc if you lose the skill to wear something you are already wearing, it acts as if it's broken (stats/equips don't apply).
If you remove it it won't let you re-equip.
If you remove it it won't let you re-equip.
