Do i need the burning crusades to go from level 300 to level 375 in leatherworking? I already have ds leatherworking skill on my lvl 51 NE hunter and want to know if theirs another way to get to master as i don't have TBC.

The trainers are in the Outlands. So without TBC, you cannot uncap 300.

Cheers, will have to get a copy next week some time after my gfx card upgrade this week.

Even if you did get master leatherworking, all the patterns require knothide leather, so you wouldn't even be able to get mats since it only drops in the outlands.
There is always the AH for Leather, but I can't help feeling you would be better off waiting till you can skin your own leather.
