The sticky at the top : Herbs, where to find them, etc etc, has all the information you'll need and then some.

When you reach lvl 50 and 300 herbalism, get a port to Shattrah City, take your mount over to Honor Hold and pay 10g for the lvl 375, go back to the old world, and you can farm high lvl items like Golden Sansam past 300 to skill you up in the old world till you get to Outlands and can get Felweed, Dreaming Glory etc etc to get you to 375.

Its very easy, I took my lvl 60 from 0 to 300 herbalism in about, oh 3 hours.

Honestly I didn't find the sticky very helpful for leveling.

Is a very good site that has maps and everything. Once you get to outlands you will level extremely quickly. Felwood was the most difficult/time consuming step. Still, herbalism can be leveled quickly and painlessly with a little gold in your pocket to spare.

By the time you get your Herbalism to 300, most of the herbs that grow in Felwood and the Plaguelands are still orange or green in skill difficulty. To get beyond 300, you need to (a)get to Outland and, (b)get to Honor Hold. Once you learn the last ranking of Herbalism you can go back to Felwood and the Plaguelands and pick your way to 375. Oddly, I'm at 375 and Plaguebloom would still give me a point if it could.
