Maybe I'm a noob but I've searched and can't find it. How do I get my First Aid Skill above 150? Any links or guides would be helpful. thanks
Left hand navigation panel, near the bottom, "List of Trainers".
You'll need a book at 150. The List of Trainers will have a link to it so you can figure out where to go. Alliance make a trip to Stromgarde in Arathi Highlands, Horde must to go to Dustwallow Village.

What do you do with the book once you get it? I read it and it increased my learning ability from 150 to 225; is that it? I made some silk bandages, which started to give me more points again, but is that it? Where do I go to learn the new "recipes" for making these bandages?
The same guy who sold you the expert book also sells the heavy silk bandage book and mageweave, which have certain requirements as to how high you have to be to learn. When you cap at 225, you go to Theramore and do a quest that involves healing a certain amount of wounded NPCs in an allotted time, then you bump to 300. Come back to this Doc at 240 to learn heavy mageweave, 260 for runecloth, and 290 for heavy runecloth. Then you are off the Hellfire Penn. for the next group of books to cap you at 375, and teach netherweave and heavy netherweave.
