im lookingfor where to get the recipe for refined deeprock salt, but cant find anything on it except that i need a salt shaker. is this an effect of the shaker? or do I buy the recipe somewhere?
The salt shaker is an Engineering recipe, but you can buy the finished shaker from the AH. Then, you can turn a single deeprock salt into a refined deeprock salt once every 3 days, no recipe required.

Thanks SEforPrez. I actually had to bite the bullet and buy the salt :/ I read it was a engineering thing and figured I could not use it =D

A quick tip on the Salt Shaker: Don't buy two expecting to make twice as much refined salt, as both will share the same 3 day cooldown timer.
I had to find an engineer to make one to order since they are never on the Gorganash AH. The mats alone cost me 16g, and that was buying raw materials for some of the components. The only requirement is 250 leatherworking to use the salt shaker.

Feel your pain man, I bought an actual salt shaker... *cough*35G*cough* That was a click buyout and forget purchase.
I made my 1 refined salt, and now have to wait 3 days to use it again :/ But at least I can cure some hides I've had sitting in bank.
Once you make enough refined deeprock salt for your own needs, you'll find it sells at auction nicely. ;)
