Disposable anvils and forge chache
Like a campfire, you can stack a few [say 10 rather than 20].
Lasts for a few minutes and then disapears.
small Chance to fail to open.
small Chance for the anvil to fall on your foot and/or the forge to explode [slow effect and/or small amount of fire damage] upon opening.
or we could just have disposable anvils.

oh lol, I can totally see myself carrying 10 anvils around while I cruise around in un'goro mining my thorium ^^
To me, it seems a tad overkill to have not only a temporary vendor to engineers, let alone a forge? In essence, you could create a town out of player items if you went that way about it.

you think its easy to make that vendor robot? its not the sort of thing you use when soloing. Its most efficient in raids, to use it for everyday use is a terrible waste.
And engineering is a bit lacking so "overkill" would be nice.
Why not have a traveling town with you? and imagine the mats to make an actual anvil/forge. People will think twice before using them.

the thing that i mostly would like to see is an additional socket for engineer items only that would be great since i always have a ahr time to know what to use for trinkets i need the extra crit for some but i love my rocketlauncher aswell. a few khorium or arcanit bars for it would be okey =P
