Is it worth? Or should i stick to skinning/mining. I've heard different views on enchanting. Some say its easy to make money if you dont rush.

if you can sell every enchant you do to level up, then yes you can make some money for profit, or make back some of the money you spent.

but as with everything, most people want to skill up faster, so they buy mats or do something to get a point then try to dump that item for a lower cost or price.

so of course, collecting ores and herbs to sell means you'll make more money than you spend since you aren't using those resources for something.

Warriors getting alchemy ???
Hell, why shouldn't they ?

Same answer applies,

Althought enchanting can cost some cash and/or time, you've been warned (on the other hand you can also make some cash out of it if you put time into it and learn how to).
In any case, drop skinning if anything, mining brings in some nice cash.

I have a rogue with mine/enchant and it works pretty well. I've mostly just sold enchanting mats, but the mining helps me feed the enchanting habit. There's always enough leatherworkers out there to buy gear from, and DE is great for instances.

You can level it up for free (I'm upto 180 on my bank alt from the 1g seed money) by disenchanting cheap items on the AH and selling the mats (then you keep about 10% of it for levelling).

Not something everyone can get the hang of though.

if you want money with enchanting, you'll need to learn how to disenchant things. Enchantrix comes in handy here.
You won't make any money off your normal enchants until you hit the rare formulas like crusader, lifestealing, mongoose etc...

I don't know if everyone's the same, but every hunter from my account (trust me, I have a lot of them) loot up a lot more greens than my mages, druids and locks (but the mages/druids/locks loot up quest items a lot faster too)...I'd say it's better to have Enchanting for hunters, but that's just me.
After all, I only have 1 hunter doing Enchanting; all my characters now only do gathering skills.

Not a hunter(Though it's not really a class specific proffesion. Sure you think casters as it's a magical proffesion, but it's got enchantments for everyone), but I recently dropped skinning for it. I found skinning to be rather annoying honestly. It slows you down, trying to quest or grind exp if after each kill you have to stop and skin your mob. And if you aren't a leatherworker you get scraps which are useless to you, because you need to be a leatherworker to assemble the scraps into usable leather. So leatherworkers will just pay you less than what they're worth when you try and sell them..but you'll probably end up just npcing them.

Personally, for enchanting I don't plan on being the guy shouting for hours on end to try and sell enchants. More it's for disenchant money and some self reliant gear tweaking, as well as just adding some flavor to my character. Even at 70 on my warrior I don't look for enchants unless a guild member offers me some and I don't plan to ask around to enchant gear unless it's something I won't be replacing. But on my warlock, my character who does have enchanting, I'll be enchanting even my greens just because I can do it myself.

If you learn Enchanting for money keep mining, but if you want to enchant your items take up tailoring because it doesn't require any gathering professions and is an easy way to get those extra essences and dust
