First Aid 150+ :: Free Realms

Help! My First Aid skill is at 150/150. I learned "Silk Bandages" from the trainer and have made over 50 but am not able to raise my skill. I bought the manual to train me for "Heavy Silk Bandage" but it says it requires First Aid 185, so I am unable to use it. Am I doing something wrong? Surely i should have been able to skill up by now. It seems that when I learned "Silk Bandages" for some reason the cap of 150 wasn't raised. I've since talked to every trainer I've come across and none of them has anything new to teach me...I don't know what to do :(

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Go into the search box and type in one of the bandages and click it. There was a player who went through and did a guide under each one. To get past 150 you have to go to a certain city and buy a special book.

yes, I already have the book ~ there are two actually, for the next two level caps and I have them both. All of the guides say at lvl 150 use the first book and make silk bandages, but the book says I need skill lvl 185 before I can use it ><

Ah, I know the problem. It isn't the Silk Bandage manual you need, it's the First Aid manual you need. There is a book that gives you 225 skill INSTEAD of a trainer.

They not only have the two bandage books, but they also have a First Aid manual that you have to read.

You can normally get it on the AH for about 25-50% more than the buying cost.

Just search for first aid 'recipe's' there.

Yup I risked death and dismemberment and ran like hell thru Dustsallow Marsh and bought that book ~ that's the book I have. Says I can't use it until my skill level is 185. What do I do to raise the cap from 150 to 185. All the guides say I should make silk bandages from 150-185, and although I do have the recipe for silk bandages (its the last thing the trainer would give me) I have made loads and havent skilled up past 150 :(

There isn't a job level requirement by any chance is there? I'm currently a lvl 28 Huntard ;p

Lucky for me I talked to the BatHandler there so I'm gonna fly back out and see if I missed something. Thanks for the advice i'll let you all know what happens ^^

I think you missed the [wowitem=16084]First Aid Manual[/wowitem] which will uncap your 150 skill and allow you to get to 225. It's sold by the vendor in Dustwallow.

YAY!! Thanks so much for all of your help, you were right! I missed the only book I actually COULD use ~ the "Expert" First Aid Training Manual!! Just picked it up...now time to make the Bandages :D
