As the title says, I have Blacksmith (Weaponsmith) 266. I 'purchased' the Imperial Bracer plans, but they require 270.

Meanwhile, I have nothing but greens, greys, and some expensive-*** Weaponsmithing-Only weapons in my list of stuff to make.

Mithril Spurs are green now, I did 5 in a row and didn't get a single level, so I think I've worn that recipe out.

Are there some other decent plans that are World-Drops out there I don't know of, that are good to level on? I need something to get me to 270... only 4 levels.

I believe the Imperial Plate Belt and the Imperial Plate Shoulders only require 265 smithing, you should pick those up and make a few belts. That should get you to 270 easy.

EDIT: Alla has a nice list of smithing plans and their required level, there might be something else in that same range that you have the mats for if you don't have the leather for the belts or the shoulders.

Hmm... okay, I might try that then. Depends on the price of Rugged Leather.. shouldn't be -that- expensive, surely. I only need 24 for those 4 levels...

Thanks! I assumed that the whole Imperial Plate set was 270 ... didn't think to check the others, because, you know, you kinda have to give the guy loads of Thorium bars before you can even See the recipe...

Yeah, they actually cover a big range. I'm currently at around 305 smithing and the Imperial Plate Helm and Boots are still orange to me. I'm using them to level until Thorium plans don't skill me up anymore(and they actually sell pretty decent on the AH too). Meanwhile, I'm saving all my fel iron and adamantite to use for later.

Wow, that far? Jeez.

Thorium is so easy to get too, I got stacks of the stuff sitting in my bank from questing 50ish-58 in the Plaguelands, Un'goro, etc.

Yeah, the problem I'm currently having is that there are no Thorium veins in Outland. Which means that if I want to go farm it, I can't go to any of the zones I am using to quest/level. I actually have to set aside time to go to EPL or whatever and go farm Thorium, because the AH price is crazy and I refuse to pay it.
