Leatherworking...Follow

OK, so I have looked for quite some time and haven't been able to find the answer to a question that I'm sure has been a critical one to several leatherworkers.

I have leatherworking topped at 300 on my level 35 druid. I currently know the patterns for both the stormshroud armor set(mostly rare, elemental) and the chromatic cloak(epic, dragonscale). OK, from everything I've read, once you have chosen a path to take for your leatherworking(elemental, dragonscale, tribal), you can't learn another path, or the patterns for it. The problem is that I have learned fairly desireable, yet conflicting patterns, and I'm concerned that once I do a quest for my chosen leatherworking type, that any others for other types of leatherworking will become unlearned. Basically I have decided on tribal leather, but I'm afraid that it will unlearn my chromatic cloak once I go that direction.

Pretty sure that the paterns you learn from the specialists have been added to the common LW pattern list. If you haven't picked a specialty yet and you learned patterns from the special trainers...yeah, there common and you wont lose them.
